Recently, I have been bringing the kids to try out Japanese food so as to cultivate their liking and taste for Japanese food. (Just in case we are flying-off to Japan!) They are used to eating Chinese, western and fast food. Well, we don't eat the raw stuff so these are a few of the common Japanese dishes that we usually order:- Katsudon (Pork), Beef Sukiyaki, Teriyaki salmon don, Hokkaido ramen, Tonkatsu bento set, Katsudon (Chicken), Soba, Japanese Curry Rice and Beef Yakinku.
My favourite family Japanese restaurants are Tam PoPo (Liang Court/ Ngee Ann City), Tonkichi (Shaw House) and Hoshigaoke (Shaw House).
So where is your favourite Japanese restaurant? Actually, certain foodcourts also serve nice Japnese food. However, for authentic Japanese food, you'll have to go to Japanese restaurants that are frequent by the Japanese.
